Guess who's a dumb dope...

...Who forgot to pack The Chicago Manual of Style before leaving to housesit in The House of Too Many Cats? GOT IT IN ONE.

Who has a Chicago and can look up for me whether I should cap dialogue in the following circumstances:

"But he--"

"--Knew about it all along."


I want to capitalize that knew because otherwise it'll look weird. I think Chicago will agree with me but I'm not certain. Can someone look it up for me? I think it'll be in 6.90.
