Cats give us Christmas greetings all year round.
Incidentally, maybe you knew this already, but not long ago I learned the significance of the gifts brought by the Wise Men. Frankincense and myrrh are both aromatic resins, the former often used in religious ceremonies, the latter in the embalming process. So together the three gifts symbolize the three aspects of Jesus: gold for king, frankincense for god, and myrrh for dead guy—which is to say, sacrifice, as in the song. Perhaps it's characteristic of cats that they choose to say the name of the embalming resin. Possibly they're showing their annoyance with the Bible's refusal to mention them, even though they totally did the Holy Family a solid back when they needed all the help they could get.
