I'm happy to see the back of this year, and as you can see I'm taking steps to ensure that 2012 is considerably better, at least for those who pay good money to see It's a Wonderful Life for the first time and don't care to be distracted during the scene in the cemetery by someone else's text messages. Movies in this town cost thirteen dollars; why are you even here if you'd rather be texting than watching Jimmy Stewart? Also, if you'd rather be texting than watching Jimmy Stewart there is something terribly wrong with you, even apart from your lack of respect for the other patrons.
Anyway, happy new year to everyone, and here's hoping people get the Mayan calendar jokes mainly out of their systems by February.
