I spent Saturday knocking on doors in Lehigh Valley, making sure people knew where their polling places were and whether they needed to bring ID and if so what kind of ID and, in a couple of cases, what day the election is. One woman asked us this sheepishly, but if I can get one more person to the polls by disseminating this simple piece of information it makes the whole day's work worth it. Also, there was lots of food, including Moravian sugar cake. Did you know that Lehigh Valley is chockablock with the descendants of Moravian settlers? Very Christian Moravian settlers. They founded Bethlehem and Nazareth.
Thursday I'll go back to drawing cats and whatever.
